50 Follower Giveaway!!!!

So I have an exciting giveaway...once I reach 50 followers I will be giving away a Pink By Design Stamp Set!

I received a duplicate of this set in my last order and Pink By Design was nice enough to let me keep it to giveaway to one of my followers. How awesome is that! If you don't know what Pink By Design is you should definitely checkout their store to see all the fantastic stamps they have.  I just recently found this company and love them! I already have quite the collection started and joined their Stamp of the Month Club which has some great benefits too. So anyway I will be giving away the Winter Fun set pictured above.  All you need to do is be a follower and leave me a comment below.  I would love for you to share my giveaway with others but it is not required. Once I reach 50 followers I will pick a winner with random.org and send it out.  Anyone can be a follower but the giveaway must stay in the USA.  Thank you and Good Luck!

The Greeting Farm Journal Week 5 Paper Piecing

So this week for the Heart Journal challenge we were suppose to do paper piecing. I decided to do a scene. All cuts are from the Pagoda Cartridge except the clouds which are from Create a Critter. I used metallic watercolors and a sponge for the sky.  I stamped the panda's face with Peachy Keen stamps and embossed and inked the trees.  I also added a clear dimensional liquid to the river so it looks wet. I love how everything turned out, very tranquil.

I've Been Spotted on the Pink By Design Community Board!!!!

My accordion birthday card I made for my sister in law was spotted on the PBD community board! Yeah! I'm so excited! I even got a button to show for it! Check it out and check out the community board too if you haven't already! Pink By Design has some awesome stamps that I've just recently become addicted to.

The Greeting Farm Heart Journal Week 2-4

I'm a little behind on posting my Heart Journal, so I thought I would just put the past 3 weeks up.

Week 2- Beach, Water, etc
I used metallic watercolors, water print paper that i cut with a wave punch, kraft paper that I covered with real sand, and a few stickers.

Week 3- Grateful, Thankful
I used some button print paper for the background, cut pictures of my sun with a square scallop punch and popdotted them to the page. I stamped a few images all over the pages.

Week 4- Hand Drawn Girl
This week was a challenge for me since I don't draw. My mom and brother have that talent, I did not get it. So I gave it my best try and this is what came out. I used Copics to color the girl I drew and then just did some doodling for the background with crayons.

If you want to see more of the heart journaling you can visit The Greeting Farm Gallery.
Thanks for looking!

Ribbon Carousel Challenge Card

I'm entering this card into the Ribbon Carousel Challenge RCC 15.

The challenge is to make an "edgy" creation with some type of ribbon, twine, hemp... anything on a spool.
So I used The Greeting Farm digi Hallo Bride as my "edginess" and the Happy Halloween ribbon for the something on a spool.

Recipe:
Paper is from a Halloween stack I got for $1 at Joann's
Martha Stewart Punch for the Gravestones
Fiskars Border punch for pumpkins, I cut them out and added Stickles
Ribbon is adhesive ribbon from Joann's
Stamp set I got at Big Lots for $2
Love how it all turned out!
Thanks for looking!

The Greeting Farm Handy Ian Birthday Card

I just made this card for my Uncle's birthday tomorrow. I colored Ian with my copics, this is the first stamp I have colored with them.  I only have a small collection of copics right now. I used a double sided tool paper from Joann's for the inside and outside. I also used sandpaper and some brads that look like screws.
I made the inside pop-up and wrote the sentiment on a piece of sandpaper.

Create a Critter Anniversary Card

I made this anniversary card for my husband. I wanted to make him something cute instead of a romantic card, since we're not very romantic people. I got him a PS3 game and he got me Gift cards to Joann's and Michael's. I used the lion from Create a Critter. The sentiment is from Pink By Design Jungle Fever and the lions face is Critter Faces from Peachy Keen. I colored the lion with some of my Copics to give it dimension.

Accordion Birthday Card with Tab

I made this birthday card for my sister in law. I used Create a Critter for the Owl and branch. I used Pink By Design Go Green Set for the sentiment and Peachy Keen Critter Faces Large for the owls' face.
Here it is with the tab pulled out.
I really love the Create a Critter cartridge. I have one more card to post using this cart.

30th Birthday Decorations

I made all the decorations for my brother in laws 30th surprise birthday party this past weekend. Wanted to post everything I made. Here's the birthday card, I used my gypsy and Sweet Treats to make it. Then embossed with my Cuttlebug and inked it.
The banner was made with my gypsy, Gypsy wanderings, the font from Robotz and decorations from Create a Critter and Sweet Treats.

Her are the center pieces I made using the same cartridges as the banner. The center one I put pictures of the birthday boy on all the circles.
Then to save the best and yummiest for last, here is a picture of the cake pops that I made. Brown ones are chocolate and white are red velvet. Yum!

Wedding Shaker Card

I made this card for my Cousin's upcoming wedding. I think it turned out really cute, but after I finished it I though it kinda looked like a Halloween card because of the orange. One of her main wedding colors is orange so I wanted to add some color to it. Saw a tutorial for the shaker cards on Crafty Sprouts blog. Here is the front of the card.
I added detail to the paper with an orange glitter gel pen. Colored a digi stamp from The Greeting Farm and cut it out with Spellbinders. I embossed and sanded the orange paper and stamped it with the Mr. & Mrs. stamp. Then I filled it with clear glitter. I also added the white ribbon with forever on it.
The inside of the card is a pop up gift card holder. I don't have the gift card yet but it goes in the slot on the top behind the card. I used a white and silver glitter pen to add details to the car and then stamped Congratulations with white ink and embossed it. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
Paper- front: single sheet from Hobby Lobby- orange Core'dinations, inside and card base: single sheets from    Joann's
Gel pens- white, sliver glitter, orange glitter
Spellbinders Labels 3
Digital Stamp- The Greeting Farm Kissy Kissy
Sweetheart Cartridge- Car 2.5"
White glitter, matting tape, Prismacolor pencils, Fiskars plate(hearts), Cuttlebug, white ribbon with words, wedding stamp set.

Cricut Sweetheart Anniversary Card

So it's my Sister in laws 3 year anniversary today and here is the card that I made for her and her husband.  The couple is from the Sweethearts cartridge, I cut it with my gypsy and I'm so glad that I have one because all the layers are on one button. So I had to hide each image so I could just cut the individual pieces in separate colors. I ran the girls shirt through my Cuttlebug with a Fiskars reptile skin plate and inked it. I also used some Copics to give the skin and hair a little texture. The Happy anniversary is from a Fiskars stamp set(I think) and its on a Spellbinders label die. The paper is from DCWV Downtown Loft pack which I love and just got at TJ Maxx for $5.99.
The inside of the card has paper from the same stack. I used a Spellbinders die again and stamped a bouquet of flowers lightly in the background. Then I added this rub on quote and inked the edges.  Enjoy!
