Orange You The Best Favor

Hey Everyone!

I've got a new Jaded Blossom project to share with you today.
I used the Feeling Fruity set and a 1x8 box.

I stamped the orange and colored it with some glaze gel pens. Then I stamped the sentiment and inked the edges of the blue circle(1 3/4") orange. I punched a 2 1/4" scallop in orange and did some stitching with a white gel pen. The cute chevron tape going down the box is Trendy Tape, love this stuff and super easy to use. I filled the box with some oranges from a box of Runts. So isn't this so cute?!  I LOVE this stamp set! So many possibilities!  Oh and these boxes are great too for bigger candy that won't fit right into the 1x8 bags or just to put cute tape on!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day!

I wanted to share this quick card I made for my Husband and his present from our Son.

So here's the card...

I used Echo Park Note to Self for all the paper.  This stamp is a wooden one I found awhile ago for cheap, but I love this saying. I finished off the card with some Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine and some brown buttons.

He's the present I made for my husband from my son. He's only 2 so he couldn't do to much but provide his hand prints. I used my Cameo to cut out the phrase on a 12x12 sheet so everything ended up being straight and I don't trust my free hand. I used Vintage Photo ink(Tim Holtz) to lightly color the canvas and then I used a Copic marker to fill in the stencil I made. Kinda looks like I wrote it, hey? I finished it with some burlap and layer 2 colors of paper to make it stand out more.

My Husband loved it!

I colored the strawberry with a glitter gel pen and wrapped the lid with Peppermint Stick and Blue Berry Trendy Twine.

For the tag I used the smaller jar from Canning Basics and stamped on strawberry, blueberry and homemade by with Memento ink. I colored the lid with a silver gel pen and made another twine bow on the lid.

Tooth Fairy Dust

Hey Everyone!

Today's the last day of Jaded Blossom Sneaks!!!
Today we are featuring the Tooth Fairy and Tooth Notes sets.

I used the Tooth Notes set for my project today.

I used a 1x8 bag from Jaded Blossom and filled it with pink and clear glitter. You could use pixie stick sugar candy too, but I ate all the ones I had bought. LOL. Then I took a 2 1/4 scallop punch to punch some Echo Park paper. I stamped the tooth circle onto the scallop and colored the teeth in with a white gel pen and stamped the sentiment in the center. Then I finished it off with a cute tulle bow.

With Sympathy Card

Hey Everyone!

Are you ready for another Jaded Blossom sneak peek!!!!
Today we are featuring the Simple Sayings set.

This is my first time making a Sympathy card, and actually this was my second attempt at this card. Believe me you would not want to see the first one. LOL

I used some Scrap Happy glue to stamp part of the tree on the oval and then I rubbed some fine bronze glitter over the top of it. Then I stamped the sentiment with some brown ink. The full image of this tree is amazing! I love it, but I think it looks pretty cool this way too.

Stop by the Jaded Blossom blog to see some more sneaks from the Design Team and come back tomorrow for another one!

This month the Design Team is featuring Blue Berry Trendy Twine. The challenge is to create a project with birds/butterflies, twine and at least 3 buttons.

I cut out this cute peacock with my Cameo, it was a file from Treasure Box Designs. I took the Blue Berry Trendy Twine and wrapped it to make the belly of the peacock. I stamped a cute Peachy Keen face on it and finished it off with a small tag stamped with a Jaded Blossom sentiment and tied it on with more twine.

New Trendy Twine Design Team

Hey Everyone!

Most of you know that I'm on the Trendy Twine Design Team. Well today the new team is being announced, and I've decided to stay on the team for another term. I have loved being on the team this term and am excited to start another.

So, a little about me. I'm a stay at home Mom of an extremely energetic 2 year old boy. He definitely keeps me on my toes all the time. I've been happily married to my husband for almost 6 years and am so lucky to have such a supportive man in my life. I started paper crafting a little over a year ago, making my Son's first birthday party decorations as my first project. And since then I've pretty much become obsessed with anything paper crafting including loving my Twine! So here I am, enjoying my crafting in my free time and having a blast creating new things.

The new team will sharing their projects they submitted to join the team, and since I was already on the team and didn't submit anything I thought I would just share some of my projects I've made for Trendy Twine.

Make sure you stop by the Trendy Twine Blog to see all the new Design Team members. Plus if you visit all 15 Design Team member's blogs and the Trendy Twine blog and leave some love, you will have a chance to win a full spool of your choice from Trendy Twine!

This month the challenge is to make anything Man or Boy related and use a Jaded Blossom stamp.

So here is my project-

I used a file from the Silhouette store and Echo Park paper to make this carriage. I inked all the edges and used the Babies and Weddings stamp set to stamp It's a Boy! on each side. I love how this carriage turned out, would be such a cute baby shower favor!
