Best Wishes and Tutorial

Hey Everyone!

I've got a new Trendy Twine project featuring Twisted Lime to share with you!

Plus I've got a mini string art tutorial.

I made this colorful Best Wishes card.

Here's a close up of the finished string art with Twisted Lime.

Trendy Twine-Twisted Lime

Jaded Blossom- Best Witches(Best), Sweet Birthday Wishes(Wishes), Flag Die 2

Onto the tutorial....

I used the rhinestone feature on the Silhouette software to make my holes. I made the shape I want and then I do an internal offset a little smaller then the shape. After that I used the rhinestone feature to change the internal shape to size 10ss holes and for this circle I changed the spacing to 3.

1.  I put a line of my atg glue on the back to hold down the end of the twine. 

2.  I numbered the holes in the pics above so you can see where to start and where to go next. 

 But you can pick any hole to start and then pick another one somewhere across from it.

Depending on how far apart the holes are you choose will make the hole in the center bigger or smaller. 

3.  Then you just keep moving one hole over(counter clockwise) all the way around the shape until you have 2 strands into each hole.

If you run out of twine while working the shape, you can just start a new strand on the back.

Spring Watering Can Treat

 Hey Everyone!

 I've got a new Jaded Blossom project to share with you!

I made this super cute watering can and filled it with some stamped kisses. I used 4 different Candies sets(listed below), I thought all of these images worked great for the Spring theme.

I also used one of the new Candy Charms to make the tag hanging off the bow.

St. Patty's Day Blog Hop

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Welcome to the St. Patty's Day Blog Hop! If you just got here from Candace your in the right spot, if not please start at the beginning. 

My project today is something I made with my almost 3 year old Son.

A Leprechaun Trap!

Here are a few pics of Vincent decorating the box with popsicle sticks and foam shamrocks.

The outside of the box was all decorated by Vincent, I just helped him with the glue.

We made a pathway with some rainbow popsicle sticks and used pompoms around the border.

I found the mini hat at dollar tree, we filled it with some Leprechaun Bait(Lucky Charms). I hot glued a couple sparkly shamrocks down, Vincent kept calling them trees. 

Here's Vincent getting the trap all ready by putting some of the bait in the pathway.

We didn't end up catching that darn Leprechaun because he was just to fast for us. But he did leave Vincent some Chocolate Gold Coins in the hat. You can see the foot prints he left behind as he ran out.

Trendy Twine Tuesday- Lucky Treat

Hey Everyone!

I've got a new Trendy Twine project inspired by this month's challenge to share with you.

I made a cute Lucky Treat! I used the Jaded Blossom Treat Tag Die and a 1x8 bag.

I used Twisted Lime and Limeade to make a string art shamrock. I know some of you wanted a tutorial for how I do my string art. So stay tuned, later this month I will have one posted for you. 

I tied the tag to the bag with some rumple ribbon, stamped the perfect sentiment and added a little bling.

A close up of the clover, I did the string art with the Limeade and then outlined it with the Twisted Lime.

Sunshine and Smiles

Hey Everyone!

I've got a new SVG Cutting Files project to share with you!

I'm so excited to share this project with you today not only is it super cute but it's my first project as an official Design Team Member!(I was the guest designer last month)

I used the file Road Trip which will be available this Friday. I used a cloud embossing folder for the background and a sentiment from Jaded Blossom on top of their Flag Dies.
