For those of you who don't know about this challenge, The Greeting Farm is doing a 23 week Heart Journaling challenge. Every Friday they will announce a new theme and you have until the following Thurs. to upload it to your file in their gallery. I thought it would be really fun to do this project, because I have never done an art journal before and what a great way to learn new things with a ton of other people. I really enjoyed this first project and can't wait to see what's up next! For more info on this challenge you can visit their blog, The Greeting Farm.
So here's my first heart journal entry. I spread glue on both pages and put cut out butterflies and dragonflies on the page. I also put glue on top of them.( I didn't have any modge podge) The shapes were from gypsy wanderings and create a critter I think. Then I took watercolor pencil to color the background and went over with a brush. I put some purple glitter glue on a few of the butterflies in the background.
On the left side I have a love quote I wrote with a glitter pen, it's on Spellbinder label 2 die cut. I also cut wings from another cartridge but I can't remember which one. I used a glitter pen to outline the cuts and edges of the wings and covered the wings with stickles. I cut 3 hearts and covered them with the clear dimensional liquid after writing on them.
On the right side I colored a digi stamp from Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps with my Prismacolor pencils and used some stickles on their wings. I had the frame it has a design on the other side so I just used the white side and inked and stamp with a MS background stamp. The word love is done with chipboard stickers that I colored with glitter pens. Hope you enjoy!

New Name and Blog Address
Just wanted to let everyone know that I change my blog name and address. I realized that Stellar Designz is also a firework company, so I wanted to have something different. Eventually I want to start selling my crafts. Hopefully as soon as we get through our move to a different state I will have my own craft room and more space to create. I hope my followers can still see my page on their dashboard even though I changed the address. Please let me know if it is still visible to you if you are a follower. If your not I would love to have any new followers. I'm also in the process of learning how to design my blog so hopefully I'll have a new look soon. :) I recently posted a video of my first mini album and my first video. Would love any opinions on it! I have some other projects I'm working on too that hope to post soon.

My First Mini Album!
Here's a video of my first mini album. I made this for my cousin's bridal shower. I left it pretty simple so she could put pictures or journal wherever she wanted. I used cereal boxes for the pages and covered them with the DCWV citrus stack. Most of the cuts are with the Wild Card cartridge. Each envelope has a card inside for journaling or pictures. I got the idea from a video on YouTube using the Wild Card cart. I'm really happy how it turned out!

Yeah! I Just Got My Teresa Collins Stampmaker From HSN!!!!
I just got my Stampmaker delivered today and can't wait to use it. It also makes stencils and embossing plates. I got it from HSN a few days ago and it includes an exclusive DVD from Megan at Above Rubies Studios. If you don't know who she is, she is the one who has done the A to Z DVDs for the Cricut, Gypsy, and Imagine( I think there's one for the imagine. I don't own it... yet) These DVDs are great they really helped me do a lot on my machines, especially the gypsy. I'll be sure to share what I make as soon as I have time in between the other projects I'm working on and trying to sell our house.

Wiper Birthday Card For My Husband!
Here's the birthday card I made for my husband. It's his birthday today! I did a wiper card, which I watched a tutorial on Cricut Love's blog to learn how to make it. I might have put too much on the card, but I'm new to card making and I wanted to use so many of my new things.
Here it is closed. I used Create a Critter for the dog and cupcake. I hid the face cuts on both so I could use some Peachy Keen stamps.
I embossed the stamped candle image with clear powder. Stamp was from a set I got at Big Lots for $2 (Awesome Deal!!!) Then I put the metal present and star embellished in the middle section. (those were from Joann's only $0.97) The Yappy Birthday is from a My Pink Stamper Even More Punny-licious set. I'm really happy with how it turned out. It was super fun to make!

Father's Day Card
Here's a Father's Day slider card I made for my Father in law. I saw a Youtube video on how to make these. I used my Gypsy font for the #1 and Dad. I welded Dad together. I used the Happy Father's Day phrase from Wild Card Cartridge. I inked the #1 too. Thanks for looking.
